What are Venturers?

Venturers are between the ages of 15-17 years of age.

Venturer Scouts work to acquire the knowledge and skills for career development; and participate in thrilling outdoor adventures. The motto for the Venturer Scouts is: Challenge. A Venturer Scout Section is called a “Company” and a Company may be organized into smaller teams called “Expedition Teams”.


WHAT TYPES OF ADVENTURES DO VENTURER SCOUTS DO?

• Multi-day paddling excursions with portages

• Backwoods camping, including winter camping

• White water rafting

• Mountain climbing

• National & International Jamborees

• Community Service
